The Sydney Theatre Company has announced  it’s 2017 season. “Our 2017 Season is full of diverse stories that are passionate, smart, fun and at times, controversial. It’s for you… it’s every bit Sydney.” Check it out HERE.

Kenneth Moraleda will appear in 2 productions for the company, both Australian plays having World Premiers, Talk and Australian Graffiti.

In Talk, writer and director Jonathan Biggins sets his eyes squarely on modern journalism, social media and the 24-hour news cycle. When everyone has a megaphone, who’s listening?
STC audiences know Jonathan Biggins  best  for the Wharf Revues and the STC commissioned comedy Australia Day which Kenneth toured nationally in 2015-16.

Talk plays from 3 April – 20 May 2017 at the Drama Theatre, Sydney Opera House.

Australian Graffiti marks the debut of a remarkable young voice. Disapol Savetsila’s play is an investigation of the migrant experience from the inside out. Teasing out the complexities of identity and belonging, his writing – both wryly humorous and deeply affecting – offers an insight into Australian lives often overlooked.

Developed by STC in partnership with Asian Australian arts company Performance 4a and Playwriting Australia, Australian Graffiti is an STC commission directed by Paige Rattray, who has been part of the play’s evolution since its STC Rough Draft workshop in 2015.

Australian Graffiti will play from 7 July – 12 August 2017 at Wharf 2 Theatre
