SEA FILM COMETITON JURORS

WONG TUCK CHEONG (CHAIR)

Won Tuck Cheong is the president of the Malaysian Film Club (Kelab Seni Filem Malaysia) based in Kuala Lumpur. He is also a board member of NETPAC (Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema), after serving a term as NETPAC’s general manager. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Finas, the National Development Corporation of Malaysia, and has contributed to the film publication Cinemaya. Currently he works as a senior editor at a private university.

KENNETH MORALEDA

An Actor of Filipino descent, Australian based Kenneth started training at the Australian Theatre for Young People before being accepted into the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) graduating with a Bachelor Of Acting in 1995. Kenneth’s first lead in a feature film is the role of Arun in the Australian film Lucky Miles directed by Michael James Rowland. Other film roles include Monsod in Miramax’s The Great Raid directed by John Dahl and Tony in the short film Sweet and Sour.

ANA CAPRI

No stranger to Cinemanila, Filipina actress Anna Capri won the Best Actress award for her role in Jeffery Jeturian’s Pila Balde at the first edition of the festival in 1999. In 2005, she snagged the same award for her role in the film Ala Verde, Ala Pobre, a entry to the 2005 Cinemanila Digital Lokal category.
